Diddy has been in the news recently for an entirely different, more dire reason, but fans might be surprised by his tech investments. Additionally, new documents were released on Wednesday (August 21) detailing the roughly 100 investors who helped Elon Musk turn Twitter into X when he acquires it for $44 billion in 2022. The bad boy tycoon is represented through Sean Combs Capital LLC, joining Bill Ackman, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, and Saudi Arabian Prince Waleed bin Talal Al Saud, among others. However, it’s unclear how much he invested in the social media site. It’s also not publicly known who currently holds shares in the company.
As for Diddy’s relationship with Elon Musk, they have been on friendly terms since he went on Dave Chappelle’s show in 2022. Of course, there have been bigger issues for both of them recently, most notably Diddy’s various sexual assault, abuse and sex trafficking accusations. The most recent update we have received on this situation is regarding the preparation of his legal team to fight these lawsuits. Combs’ camp has vehemently denied all allegations, which have not been proven to be true.

Diddy aside, Elon Musk is addressing today’s tough political climate on Twitter, and Pryce has his own take on the solution: “Elon will shut down Twitter if Trump continues to fall behind in the polls,” he tweeted. “He deployed Twitter to influence the election. I believe he will shut down all of Twitter before he concedes Trump’s defeat!!!!!” There are plenty of others who share similar views (however unlikely), but we can’t say much about it until Election Day arrives in the US.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent recently responded to the bizarre news that Diddy was being sued by members of a cartel for refusing to traffic minors. It’s a bizarre claim, especially as many wondered if this constitutes self-incrimination. Either way, this is one of many obstacles that stand in his way, and it’s a tough process to watch on Elon Musk’s platform. Let’s wait and see what happens with these controversial moguls and the platforms and legacies they’ll have to deal with.
