Cristiano Ronaldo just can’t stop breaking records: Within two hours of launching his YouTube channel on Wednesday, he hit one million subscribers, setting a new record for the video-sharing platform.
Cristiano (39), who plays for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr Football Club, quickly gained 30 million subscribers in the two days that followed.
He has a while to go before he takes the top spot from Jimmy Donaldson, aka Mr Beast, who has over 300 million subscribers.
The footballer’s channel gives fans a glimpse into his life and his relationship with partner Georgina Rodriguez.
“I have always enjoyed building strong relationships with my fans on social media. My YouTube channel will give me an even bigger platform where my fans will get to know more about me, my family and my thoughts on different subjects,” Ronaldo said.
