A surprising report from the data collection company Similarweb’s X (formerly Twitter) handle has sent the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom into a frenzy. The report claims that popular JJK manga leaker Myamura (@Go_Jover) has attracted more traffic to his page than celebrities like Mr. Beast and Joe Biden. This has sparked an interesting response from people, especially the fandom, who seem to be rooting for this incident for their fellow fandom members.
On August 20, SimilarWeb, a company known for software development and big data collection and aggregation, released a list of X-accounts that generate the most traffic on the site. The list included celebrities from various fields, including sports, YouTube, politicians, artists, and CEOs. Fans were pleasantly surprised to see Maymura’s name on the list, beating out world-famous celebrities.
It seems that Mymura has surpassed them all, with football page @TheEuropeanLad in 10th place with 0.02% share, famous YouTuber MrBeast’s old account @kristyson_ in 9th place with 0.02% share, his new account in 7th place with 0.03% share, US President Joe Biden in 8th place with 0.03% share, and influencer Andrew Tate’s account in 6th place with 0.03% share.
Among the top 5 accounts on X (formerly Twitter) for traffic share, the contribution of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga leak appears to be an astonishing 0.04%, ranking fifth. Above it, Italian-Chinese artist Li Ying (@whyyoutozhele) is in fourth place with a 0.06% share, and Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) is in third place with a 0.06% share.
Fellow YouTuber and owner of X (formerly Twitter), Hinata Akane, comes in second and first with 0.08% and 0.10% shares, respectively. It’s unclear when Similarweb collected this data, but it was published late on August 19th (2:18 a.m. EDT), which is certainly before the news broke that Jujutsu Kaisen would be ending in September, but it is fairly recent.
However, after the news of Gege Akutami’s announcement spread, their account received even more traffic. As a result, fans are wondering what their rankings are now. We regularly bring you the forefront of all anime and manga related news. Follow us to stay updated.
