The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) main stock index rose 14.18 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 4,309.08 points on Thursday.
A total of 375.27 million shares were traded during the session, with the trading value reaching AED 442.14 million.
Drake & Skull International (DSI) recorded the highest trading volume of AED 67.56 million and was the most traded stock with 173.88 million shares.
National Industries Group Holding (NIND) was the top gainer with a 10.13% increase, while National International Holding (NIH) was the top decliner with a 10% drop.
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s benchmark index (ADX) also rose 0.247 percent to 9,370.70 points.
Trading volume on ADX reached AED 940.47 million through 278.26 million shares traded, giving it a market capitalisation of AED 2.83 trillion.
International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover at AED 191.25 million, while Eshraq Investments was the top in terms of volume with 48.96 million shares traded.
Fujairah Building Industries was the top performer with an 11.94% increase, while Al Dhafra Insurance Company was the top performer with a 10% decline.
