Walt Disney World has announced a slate of initiatives for Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month, including an extension of the Celebrity Encanto show at Epcot.
Familia Madrigal Baila
It’s official! The limited-time ¡Celebración Encanto! sing-along show has been extended, allowing you to dance, sing and celebrate with the incredible Madrigal family on the CommuniCore Plaza Stage. Featuring beloved characters and songs from the film and fun trivia to test your knowledge of “Encanto,” the show takes place several times a day at EPCOT and is the perfect way to get together with friends and family. Check My Disney Experience for show times. Bruno and Mirabelle will even stop by during the show to join in the fun!
An unforgettable mariachi experience
The beautiful traditional sounds of mariachi that you all know and love will be coming to EPCOT on September 15th. Mariachi Cobre will be performing on select days and times for a limited time. Keep your eyes peeled as a familiar friend may stop by to enjoy the performance. ¡Qué emoción!
Life imitates art
Hispanic and Latin American countries are filled with incredibly diverse cultures, each with their own art forms that define and celebrate their traditions. Here are some ways Walt Disney World honors these customs.
To celebrate the month, Disney Springs Art Walk is getting even more lively with new murals that can be enjoyed all year round. Featuring beautiful motifs painted live by Miami-based artist Nicole Salger, the murals showcase her Latino roots in all her work. Passionate about sci-fi and folk art, her murals are experimental and challenge the viewer’s perspective. You won’t want to miss them!
Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park can learn how to draw Dante from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco” and meet Hispanic Pixar animator Ana Ramirez at the Conservation Station Animation Experience.
Art lovers can visit “Art of Disney” at Epcot, where paintings, limited edition prints, figurines and more will be available for sale, and Artist Spotlight will feature work by Hispanic or Latin American artists. This year’s artists include Pixar talents Gaston Ugarte, Ana Lacase and Luis Uribe.
Long live music!
No celebration is complete without some music to dance and sing to, and there’s plenty to come next month!
This year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE will feature three iconic Latin artists and a fun Orlando Latin band gracing the America Gardens Theatre stage for the Eat to the Beat concert series presented by Florida Blue. You won’t want to miss it!

Are you ready to soak in nostalgia and enjoy flavors that remind you of home? This year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will feature a variety of delicious cuisines, including Hispanic and Latino favorites, in more than 30 Global Marketplaces throughout the park. ¡Son muy delicisos!
The fun doesn’t end there; Guests can discover delicious treats throughout Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Resort Collection hotels. The official Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month Food Guide will be available soon on the Disney Parks Blog, but here’s a sneak peek: Fan-favorite menu items return this year, including Encanto Cupcakes, available at Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Pollo Guisado, available in select locations like the End Zone Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
