COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Italian Festival is back this year, and WBNS-10TV is proud to serve as one of its media sponsors.
This three-day event will take place on the streets surrounding St. John the Baptist Catholic Church from Friday, Oct. 11 to Sunday, Oct. 13.
Here’s what you need to know about the 2024 Columbus Italian Festival.
Friday, October 11th from 5pm to 11pm
Saturday, October 12th from noon to 11pm
Sunday, October 13th from noon to 7pm
$10 at the door. Children 12 and under are free with adult admission. Weekend passes are available for purchase for $15 and include three general admission tickets (one on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Free shuttle parking is available at Columbus State Community College’s indoor parking garage. The garage is located at 534 East Long Street. There will be no surface parking this year.
The shuttle bus will operate during the following times.
Friday – 3:30pm – 12:30am Saturday – 10:30am – 12:30am Sunday: 9am – 8:30pm
The garage has a disabled parking space, a disabled elevator and 1,100 parking spaces.
Lisa de la Rosa: Lisa is a triple talent as a singer, dancer, and actor, and has been a music lover since childhood. As a professional singer, she specializes in standards, oldies, Broadway, country, adult contemporary, and Connie Francis’ favorite Italian songs. She also enjoys performing songs by great artists such as Shirley Bassey, Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, and Edie Gorm.
Sicilian Tenor and Rick Brunette Big Band: Sicilian Tenor sings a variety of songs in his operatic tenor voice, taking audiences on a romantic journey from Italy to Hollywood to Broadway. The group will be accompanied by a 17-piece orchestra led by Rick Brunette.
Sensational Soul Brothers Showband and Review: Based in Dublin, Ohio, this group is a professional cover band offering a wide range of music. Specializing in R&B and soul classics from the 1980 Blues Brothers movie, as well as songs from the 2000 Blues Brothers movie, 1978 concert tour, and Saturday Night Live appearances, the Sensational Soul Brothers have added original comedic elements while , which adds an original comedic element. Great music from that era.

The dates for the first Italian festival were set for the weekend of September 20th and 21st, 1980. The location chosen was the Rauche Building at the Ohio State Fairgrounds, which is as central and accessible as possible.
In 1999, the Columbus Italian Festival moved to its current home on the grounds of St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church. As one of Columbus’ premier festivals, it now attracts more than 35,000 visitors each year.
