Veteran WR/KR Jamal Agnew is healthy and ready to begin his free agent visit, according to Mike Garafolo.
Garafolo added that 10 teams have expressed interest in signing Agnew, whose skill as a top-tier kick returner has become even more important due to rule changes this year.
We explored several possible landing spots for Agnew earlier this summer.
Agnew, 29, was a fifth-round pick of the Lions in 2017. He is playing out his four-year, $2.65 million rookie contract and will be making a base salary of $645,000 in 2020.
Agnew signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Jaguars and was testing the market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time.
He will play out his contract and become an unrestricted free agent again in 2024.
In 2023, Agnew appeared in 11 games for the Jaguars, catching 14 of 21 passes for 225 yards and one touchdown. He also had 14 punt returns for 144 yards and 15 kickoff returns for 391 yards.
He is included on our Top 100 NFL Free Agents list.
